Documents Required for Scooter Rental in Zanzibar

  • A Zanzibar temporary driving permit, which costs USD 15

👉 An International Driving Permit is recommended but not mandatory if your license is in English.
If your license is written in Cyrillic or non-English language, an international license is strongly advised.

⚠️ Only the authorized rider listed in the contract is allowed to ride the scooter.

Who Can Rent a Scooter?

  • Minimum age: 23 years

  • Maximum age: 70 years

  • Rider must have at least 2 years of driving experience
